Calibri; \*Riched20 10.0.22621 The girl darted with excitement, nearly stumbling over the stairs because of the eagerness that rose inside her. After dressing her in the splendid Sleeping Beauty costume, her mother began to take pictures, catching some of the brightest smiles imaginable. The man of the house joined them, and they set out for a night in the neighborhood, gathering candies and joy for their little sweet one. All the sounds of night echoed, and grim sounds of trick-or-treat rained from a house in the distance. The little girl sprinted up to every door, leaving her parents to wait behind at the sidewalk. She was sure to fill her bag as full as possible, for it was in her blood. Is it not her father whos bred to capture and seize all opportunities, no matter the cost? She even rudely surpassed some of the other children in seeking to fill her bag with goodies. Having no fear, the little one shoved some of the older children to make her space in the front of the group at the door, to seize her opportunity. In spite of her mischief, her parents could not help but let her enjoy herself. After a few hours, her feet were sore after a long stroll through the neighborhood, and Dainisa had sticky fingers and lips from the many treats she had devoured on the way home. The night was breezy, but not quite cool. A nice fresh fall essence gloomed about the night. Soon there were little lights left on in the streets, and it appeared that trick-ortreating was over. It seemed that they were the last ones on the block still walking through the night. Despite that notion, there was no rush to get home. In fact, this was a romantic setting with joy as the catalyst. Life seemed promising, and indeed it would be for the ideal American family, the family happily chasing the American Dream. They traveled down a long newly paved street that included a beautiful landscape of hedges and trees, all tiered and in front of immaculate brick houses. The family approached a large Emory brick house that outshined all the rest. The beautiful driveway lighting was one reason this house outshone the rest, but the steel gate that was black as raw oil and pointed straight in the air like large spears was another reason this property stood out among its neighbors. The gate was almost too tall for anyone to attempt to climb it. Its stature was indeed intimidating, as was the guard who stood in a booth dead center of the steel gated entrance. Steel designs that curled about like ribbons gave the entrance a true royal feeling.
