Thompson**, pursuant to **Rule 2.330, Florida Rules of Judicial Administration**, and respectfully moves this Court to disqualify the assigned Child Support Hearing Officer from further participation in this case, and as grounds therefore states: 1. The assigned hearing officer has demonstrated conduct that calls into question their **impartiality and objectivity** in this case. 2. During prior hearings, the hearing officer made **statements reflecting personal bias**, including threatening to increase Petitioners support obligation to \\$300 per month as a **punitive measure** for speaking during proceedings. 3. The hearing officer has **refused to consider Petitioners financial hardship**, despite a submitted financial affidavit, TANF eligibility documentation, and documented caretaking responsibilities. 4. The officer ignored Petitioners right to challenge paternity and failed to address a **merger error involving a mistaken case identity**suggesting significant **procedural and constitutional concerns**. 5. Petitioner has also filed a **formal misconduct complaint** against the hearing officer with the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court Administration, further illustrating the breakdown of trust and impartiality. 6. Petitioner respectfully believes he cannot receive a fair hearing while the current hearing officer remains assigned to this case. 7. Office Garrett Barket states I said " I had the ability to pay" I never said that and clearly disputed it.\~\~ ### **WHEREFORE**, Petitioner respectfully requests: A. That the assigned hearing officer be **disqualified** from further participation in this matter; B. That the case be **transferred to a Circuit Court Judge** or assigned to a different hearing officer not subject to these allegations; C.
