Book 1: The Arrival
Scene 1: The IGFP Announcement
Setting: A bustling bar in New York City, filled with people chatting, music playing, and TVs showing news broadcasts.
Characters:
Megan Carter: A journalist trying to get a break in her career.
Tom Rodriguez: A corrections officer off-duty, skeptical of world events.
Liam Bennett: A college student, fascinated by UFOs and conspiracy theories.
Dialogue:
The music in the bar suddenly stops, replaced by a strange static. Every device with speakers or screens displays the same image: a vast, alien insignia.
IGFP Broadcast: "We are the Intergalactic Federation of Police. It is the best translation we can give based on your human understanding."
Megan puts down her drink, staring at the TV.
Megan: "Is this some kind of marketing stunt? This has to be a movie trailer. Right?"
Tom: shaking his head "Not funny. If it’s a prank, someone’s hacking every system out there. Look—my phone’s showing it too."
He holds up his phone, displaying the same message.
IGFP Broadcast: "Unfortunate for some, but fortunate for the rest, we must intervene. First Phase: We have unlocked all of the prison cells of the world. Those prisoners are free to leave. This decision has been made. It is more free people that have done far worse. You also punish innocent people, while true offenders are free and doing more crime. It has become overbalanced. Your society will collapse. There must be balance brought to your Earth."
Liam: excitedly "I knew it! I told you! They’ve been watching us! They’re cleaning up our mess. This is amazing!"
Megan: in disbelief "Amazing? They’re letting criminals loose! Do you have any idea what this could mean?"
Tom: grimly "It means chaos. Total chaos. And if this isn’t a joke, I don’t know how we stop it."
Scene 2: The Prison Riot
Setting: A high-security prison in Los Angeles. Guards are stationed at control panels while inmates mill about their cells. Suddenly, all the monitors freeze, and the IGFP broadcast begins playing over the intercom.
Characters:
Officer Jenkins: A senior corrections officer.
Marcus Reed: A hardened inmate with a grudge.
DeShawn Carter: A younger inmate, desperate to escape.
IGFP Broadcast: "Some cells remained locked. These cells remained locked because we have the proof of their crimes. We have weighed your crimes with your good. If you have killed and there was no explanation, then your cell remains locked. If you have killed and there was an explanation, then the explanation was weighed and considered. Those who remain know who they are and what they did. Those who have been freed know who they are and what they did."
There’s a loud click as the cell doors unlock. Marcus steps out immediately, grinning.
Marcus: "Guess it’s my lucky day."
DeShawn hesitates, looking at the open door.
DeShawn: "What’s happening? Is this real?"
Officer Jenkins: yelling into his radio "Control, we have a breach! All cells are open! I repeat, all cells are—"
The radio crackles with static as the broadcast drowns it out.
IGFP Broadcast: "We hope this will be a learning lesson for you all in your next lives."
Marcus walks past Jenkins, smirking.
Marcus: "Lesson learned, officer. Don’t stand in my way."
Officer Jenkins: pulling out his baton "Not so fast, Reed. You’re not going anywhere."
The two clash, while DeShawn uses the chaos to slip out unnoticed.

Sarah gasps, clutching her youngest child.
Sarah: "Did they just say they’re destroying the prisons? What kind of monsters are these?"
Jacob: excitedly "Mom, look! It’s all over social media. Everyone’s talking about it. They’re saying it’s legit."
Eric: calmly "Legit? You really believe aliens are taking over our justice system? It’s probably a massive cyber-attack."
Sarah: snapping "Eric, they hijacked every device we have. This isn’t just some hacker. This is... I don’t know what this is."
The family sits in silence as the broadcast repeats.
