I used to watch the NFL religiously never missing a Sunday, but since 2009'ish I have seen a drastic decline in my love for the game. It started with The NFL not knowing what a catch was. The targeting issues, I will give the NFL, even though there is nearly no way to make a tackle with your head contacting the next mans head. It is why we have helmets. The defenseless receiver , I agree with. As a matter of fact anything that has to do with player safety, I will not complain. However, to say a person must not allow the ball to move is ridiculous. I am not sure of anyone who can keep the ball 100% still. That Cincinnati Bengals catch was a clear catch, but the NFL is starting to look like the Video Game Madden where the algorithmic equations kick in to help keep the game competitive. It's been apparent. I know me not watching the NFL wont hurt them a bit, but I tell you it got harder and harder for me to watch. I am sure the majority of the fans feel the same way.
