Thompson ]** **Case No.: \\[16-2001-DR-2055-FM** --- **Your Honor,** Before the Court considers any contempt finding, I respectfully ask that you acknowledge two motions Ive filed: 1. A **Motion to Dismiss the Contempt Charge** based on my documented financial hardship, the emancipation of the child, and the absence of a fair ability-to-pay hearing, as required by *Turner v. Rogers*. 2. A **Motion to Compel DNA Testing and Vacate Prior Orders**, because I was never provided an opportunity to challenge paternity. I was not married to the childs mother, and Florida law requires that unwed fathers be given the chance to request genetic testing. In my case, this right was denied, and the record shows improper case merging with another mans identity. Ive also submitted **judicial complaints** against the officers who handled this case due to bias, abuse of discretion, and retaliatory conduct during hearings. Despite my efforts, including providing a financial affidavit and offering a **38% settlement on corrected arrears** plus **\\$100/month**, the Department of Revenue **refused assistance or payment arrangements** after sending a notice inviting me to call. I am not refusing to pay. I simply cannot afford the **arbitrary \\$300/month obligation** imposed without a legal basis.
